I have been interested in photography since I was five, when my parents gave me my first camera. Taking pictures has always been a favorite pastime, but I really got into it after taking a photojournalism class with Beth Reynolds at USF-St.Petersburg.
My collection is just beggining and will be updated regularly, so keep checking back!
Please e-mail me with any comments and/or questions - I'd love to hear what you think.

Photo Essays
These two photo essays were completed as final projects in my Photojournalism II class, Spring 2008.
I spent the semester following a group of guys who were getting ready for Tarpon season. They spent several months getting ready and making sure they had all of the equipment needed as well as some much needed practice. This story was interesting, each of the three had a range of skills and worked really well together as a team. Unfortunately, Tarpon season was pushed back a few times and I never had the opportunity to capture any of their Tarpon fishing trips.
I also spent some time with the Sanderlin Elementary crossing guard. Annabelle Williams is passionate about her job and only does it because she feels its an important role somebody has to play in her community. This project offered more challenges. Half way through the semester Annabelle had a stroke and was home recovering. At first, I thought my story was no more. I didn't have enough time to find a new story and then realized this minor situation was part of the real story.
Annabelle Williams assists Sanderlin Elementary students cross 22nd Avenue so they can get to school and get home safely.
Mitch Malecot, Daniel Overton and Adam Borgman take some time out of their routine to dive into Tarpon fishing. All hope to be ready when Tarpon season comes in late Spring 2008.
Photography Collection
This is a collection of photos I have taken of people and nature. I have captured moments of people at events, concerts, playing sports, hanging out, having fun and anything else I have seen. My appreciation for nature is revealed through some of these photos. Photographing a moment creates a much better composition than setting them up.
